So far my daughter and I have been packing our food in preparation for our trip.
We have created of list of items we will need to take with us.
We have contacted the necessary people and let them know what was going on.
Now, background on the trip:
This year has been full of bumps and downfalls for my family. We have successful triumphs for my daughter and my son!! So it hasn't been too bad...or let's say these good things that have happened made the bad things seem not so bad.
The trip...well is being forced upon us due to no family to help and the close friends we thought could..don't want to. Now those of you out there that are reading this know who you are.
This is okay. God has opened our eyes and showed us who we can count on and who we can't. So, it was a way of cleaning house. Tossing out the bad and bringing in new.
Yes, I am sure it seems like we have lost our minds but, I think this trip will be very rewarding in the end. The three of us girls will be bonded like no other. And the life experiences we have yet to share on the road will be remembered always.
I am sure there will be many laughs, some tears and lots of stories shared amongst us to pass the time.
My four dogs will be joining us on this journey. And hopefully not our four cats but we have yet found anybody that is willing to watch them for a couple weeks until we arrive in VA. So, they might be joining us too. We will make the most incredible sight.
If you pass us along the way, please be kind and do not throw things, yell, or hit us!! I am sure we will be tired. :-)
